Because of our volunteers and donors, last year The Salvation Army was able to provide:

• 48,576 nights of lodging/days of comprehensive care for homeless families and women.  30% of persons sheltered were children
  
  
• 142,918 hot meals for the homeless
  
  
• Move 529 homeless households into suitable housing through intensive case management
  
  
• Emergency assistance for 43,227 financially struggling individuals.  Such assistance given included food packages, clothing, personal care items, diapers and formula, and assistance with rent, utility and prescription drug bills
  
  
• New gifts and clothing for 7,024 children at Christmastime
  
  
• A hearty Christmas Day meal for 639 persons. Most of these individuals were homeless men, women and children. Deliver a meal to 101 homebound persons
  
  
• Loving care and quality learning opportunities for 122 children ages six weeks to five years
  
  
• After-school care, tutoring, homework help, computer classes, recreation programs, and summer day camp for 502 young people grades K to 12
  
  
• 242  children with free weekly music classes
  
  
• 127,996 garments distributed to the needy
  
  HOPE, OPPORTUNITY, RENEWED SELF-RESPECT, JOY, FAITH, ENCOURAGEMENT… And much more!!
